My Encounter with Religion

I was born into a Christian worldview of religion.

I’ve had interest in all world religions, the origins and customs.

I returned to my Christian roots later in life, but not before experimenting with my own spirituality.

I didn’t want to be told what truth is, I wanted to discover it for myself. Not MY truth, but THEE truth.

I used drugs to try and expand my consciousness.

I thought I was getting deep within myself to find truth.

I turned to understand Asian religions while in the Navy.

There was a time I wanted to be a Buddhist.

Native American traditions and rituals seemed intriguing.

I was fascinated with New Age and Occult practices and wanted to understand what drove those within those worlds.
