SCHEDULE:
FRIDAY January 3:
7:00 pm: Team Meeting at Church (Brainstorming session/Paperwork)
7:55 pm: Contest Organizers Livestream film requirements
8:00 pm: Begin assignments (Script, Cast, Crew, etc)
9:00 pm: Conclude meeting. Script team collaborates remotely and/or at Team Leader home.
SATURDAY January 4:
7:00 am: Producer/Director finalizes script (emails out to cast)
9:00 am: Cast and Crew call times at the Church
3:30 pm: Wrap on Church shoots.
4:35 pm: BILLS GAME
8:00 pm: TBD (possible 2nd location shoots)
SUNDAY January 5:
6:00 am: Editing and (TBD)
9:00 am – 12 noon: Required 3 hour pause/Church Service (per contest organizers)
12:00 noon: Pick Up shoots (TBD)
3:00 pm: Post-Production
11:00 pm: Film Submission Deadline
ABOUT 48 Hour Film Race
Competition Organizers: Christian Worldview Film Festival
The organizers are a part of the 2020 CWVFF out of Franklin, Tennessee, just outside of Nashville. The film fest is on March 16-20, 2020 at the Church of the City, 828 Murfreesboro Rd, Franklin, TN 37064.
There are many factors that come into play regarding the selection process. Each film will be judged independently by our judges who will score the film using a numbering scale covering up to 32 factors divided between worldview, technical merits, and adherence to the 48 Hour Film Race rules. The official selections and finalists will be determined by the top scorers in each category and the program schedule slots available during the festival itself.
This will be the first time participating in this competition.
