Pakistan Post-Mission Trip Report

After 2 months of preparation, I stepped out in faith and accepted the task to travel to Pakistan from May 16 through May 25, 2024. It was such a wonderful time, even under severe risk from oppositional religious and political groups that could attack us. The US State Department’s Pakistan Consulate emailed me weeks in advance after receiving my tourism visa, concerning security alerts in regards to threats and red flag activities in the country. One potential problem was a music festival that was scheduled a week before I was to arrive, that, because of the heavily western influenced genres of music, that some groups were threatening to attack people that appear to be heading to the region for the events. The festival was supposed to be for several days, and held south of where I was headed. By the grace of God and the added protection of 2 security guards, and the various city police departments, I was under pretty good watch to maintain my safety. Even before the knowledge of my personal protection, I had no fear to go to the area.

After returning from my trip I did a short podcast on my YouTube channel, followed by creating a recap video that I shared with my congregation at the Bread of Life Church in Buffalo, NY.
