April 11, 2017, a car crashed across the street from the Mercy Hospital parking garage on Abbott Rd and Cazenovia Rd. The police chase had started earlier in West Seneca, at around 3 p.m. The three suspects involved in the chase were taken into police custody. According to police, the three attempted to cash fraudulent checks at an M&T Bank branch at Slade Ave. and Ridge Rd.
