SOUTH BUFFALO, N.Y. (October 27, 2019 12:00 pm) – Seneca Street in South Buffalo has seen a revival of sorts with properties being renovated throughout the main vein between the First Ward and West Seneca. But in recent days, three serious intense incidences occurred along the corridor between Bailey Ave and Mineral Springs Road. Thursday Night a 3-car accident occurred while chased by Buffalo and West Seneca Police. Saturday Night, Buffalo Police were chasing a man on foot throughout the Seneca Street, between Southside and Stevenson. Sunday Morning a 2-car crash resulting in 2 deaths.

3-Vehicle Crash After Police Chase
Thursday Night Accident on Seneca Street and Roanoke (10/24/2019)
Thursday October 24, 2019 at approximately 8:30 pm, a police chase ended in a three-car collision at the intersection of Seneca Street and Stevenson Street, extending to Roanoke Parkway. Witnesses say they saw the Black sedan, racing from Buffalo and West Seneca Police, was speeding on Seneca Street hitting a white van and white sedan. No one was reported as seriously injured, Police say.

Foot Chase Near Seneca
Saturday October 26, 2019 at approximately 10:40 pm, Police were giving chase to someone, throughout several neighborhoods around the Southside Parkway and Stevenson Street, and within Seneca Street and North Legion. Several accounts were posted on Facebook of someone attempting to enter garages and homes during the chase. No reports from any news agencies have been discovered.

Two People Dead in Seneca Street Crash Identified
On Sunday October 27, 2019 at around 3:30 am, a 34-year-old man in a black Maserati was speeding westbound on Seneca Street when he crashed into a black 2017 Toyota sedan, with a 33-year-old A.J. Twentyfive III, and 32-year-old Kristin LaBruno inside. Buffalo Police say a man and a women died as a result of their injuries. Two people were killed in a two-car crash early Sunday morning in South Buffalo.
Buffalo Police say a Maserati struck a 2017 Toyota Sedan around 2:40 a.m. near the intersection of Seneca Street and Pomona Place.
Police say the Toyota’s driver, 33-year-old A.J. Twentyfive III of Buffalo, and the passenger, 32-year-old Kristin Labruno of Buffalo, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries and later died.
Police say the driver of the Maserati and the woman who was a passenger in the car were both taken to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries.
Charges are pending against the 34-year-old Buffalo man who was driving the Maserati. Police are looking to see whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.

Police say A.J. Twentyfive III, 33, and Kristin LaBruno, 32, were killed.
Police on scene said that the two people inside a Toyota Sedan were hit by a Maserati around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.
The people in the Maserati were also taken to ECMC but police said they are expected to recover.
Police said the investigation continues. Charges are pending for the driver of the Maserati.

The two-car crash happened at Seneca Street and Pomona Place around 2:40 a.m.
According to Buffalo police, 33 year old A.J. Twentyfive III and 32-year-old Kristin N. LaBruno, both from Buffalo, had just pulled out of a parking spot on Seneca Street when their Toyota sedan was hit by a Maserati.
They were rushed to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries. Just before noon Sunday, police announced they had died.
The two occupants of the Maserati, a male & a female, were taken to ECMC but were not seriously hurt.
7 Eyewitness News spoke to a Seneca Street resident about trying to assist the female victim. Louis Rodriguez says he was upstairs in his home when he heard the crash.
“I heard a loud crash and then when I looked, that’s when I noticed the black Maserati pulling in my lawn, so I thought some body was hurt, so when I ran downstairs – that’s when I seen the other car was totaled and there was a lady underneath the car. I tried to pull her out and and tried to feel a pulse and she didn’t even have a pulse,” recalled Rodriguez.
The driver of the Maserati, a 34-year-old from Buffalo, could be facing charges. Police are trying to determine if alcohol played a role, that person’s name has not been released.

That’s when it was struck by a Maserati that was driven northbound by a 34-year-old Buffalo man.
Both the male driver and the female passenger in the Toyota had suffered life-threatening injuries.
The male was taken to Mercy Hospital in South Buffalo, where he later died. The woman was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where she later died.
Officials did not release many details on the incident, which is still being investigated. Early information from police did not make clear what or who caused the crash, or which vehicles the victims were in.”

The identities of the two people killed early Sunday morning in a fatal car crash in South Buffalo were released Monday afternoon by the Buffalo Police Department.
A.J. Twentyfive III, of Buffalo, a 33-year-old male, was the driver, while Kristin N. Labruno, 32, of Buffalo, was the passenger, police said. Both were killed when the Toyota sedan they were in was struck by a Maserati driving northbound on Seneca Street just before 2:40 a.m. Sunday. The Toyota was pulling into the road from a parked position on Seneca when it was hit by the Maserati, which was being driven by a 34-year-old Buffalo man.
Officials said Buffalo police are continuing to investigate the accident.
Twentyfive was taken to Mercy Hospital in South Buffalo, where he later died. Labruno was taken to Erie County Medical Center, where she later died.
The driver of the Maserati and his female passenger were transported to ECMC with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Buffalo police said Sunday that charges are pending against the Maserati driver.

Just one month prior, September 23, 2019, on Seneca and Wildwood a women, driving without a license and with an expired inspection sticker, crashed on a curb after police gave chase.
In West Seneca, on September 15, 2019, Southwestern Boulevard, between Seneca Street and Leydecker Road, a woman was pronounced dead on the scene and three others – one woman and two men – were taken to ECMC with serious physical injuries.
